In contrast to kivas, fire pits are more open and will often accommodate a larger number of people compared to kivas. These are great features to sit around, relax, and talk. Fire Pits can be created in different shapes… round, oval, square, rectangular. Fire pits can be wood burning or natural gas. Your choice of wood versus gas fire pit is a choice depending on personal preference o Wood Burning Fire Pit Traditional. Real wood burning smell. Must clean out periodically. o Natural Gas / Propane Fire Pit Has less maintenance. Eliminates the smell or inconvenience of of smoke for some uses such as a table or benches all around the fire.
